Maid of Honor
Skylar and I met in high school and instantly became friends. I loved how creative and fun Skylar was and still is. Skylar currently lives in Dublin, can pull off any outfit, and loves coffee. She always pushes me to be the best version of myself. I always pictured her by my side during our special day.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I met because she started dating Austin's lifelong friend, Jason. I immediately felt like I had known Katie for years the first time I met her. Katie is creative, a great friend, and loves Harry Styles. She became one of my closest friends and I will also be a bridesmaid in her wedding in August 2023!
Bridesmaid
When Abby and I met, I knew we were going to be great friends. Abby is funny, adventurous, and loves sushi. We went on a backpacking trip together with our significant others this past summer and became even closer. Abby is also a teacher and teaches 8th grade ELA! I am so happy to have Abby by my side at our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Kenlynn and I met because both worked at the Thad Cochran Center at USM! She is caring, thoughtful, and loves all things sweet! Kenlynn loves to wake up early, long talks, and enjoying the sunrise and sunset. I am so happy to have Kenlynn as one of my bridesmaids!
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I have been friends for a long time. We met in high school and we have always kept in touch! Sarah is a pescatarian, loves anything purple, and has been to about 50 concerts in her lifetime. Sarah is a true friend and she is a great addition to the bridal party!
Bridesmaid
Shyla is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. We met in high school and I instantly knew we were going to be friends for life. Shyla is silly, loves her cat Muriel, and really enjoys driving on long road trips! She is also always ready to try a new restaurant or place to hang out! I am so happy that Shyla will be apart of our wedding!
Best Man
Brendan and I met during our freshman year of college and became fast friends. Brendan, Penny, and I bonded while watching season 1 of You on Netflix and over a shared love of all things Marvel. We stayed close friends throughout our time in college, which included many late night trips to cookout and weekend drives in his Jeep to Conni Cones, our favorite snowball stand. Brendan has always been someone I can rely on and knows me better than almost anyone. I am proud to call him my best man!
Groomsman
Shane is my oldest friend and the first person I knew would stand in my wedding. We met in preschool at ages 3 and 4, seeing each other grow through many seasons of life. Life has taken Shane and I in different directions, but whenever we reunite, we pick up exactly where we left off. I can have a great time with Shane just riding around in his signature Toyota Corolla. Shane is the definition of a life-long friend and I am so grateful for his friendship.
Groomsman
Words can not describe the excitement I feel every time I have the opportunity to spend time with John Kling. He has a personality and energy so big it fills the room. Kling and I first met through Jason but soon built a close friendship of our own. I can always count on Kling for a quick joke, sound advice, or tickets to a Pels game. I look forward to sharing this day with him.
Groomsman
Elden and I grew up together, building a friendship that has stood the test of time. From playing football together at Pontiff playground, to our time together in high school, Elden has always been an important part of my life. However, our friendship truly blossomed into what it is today in college when, despite our distance, we worked to maintain a close relationship. Elden is someone that I know has my back through it all whether it be mischievous nights at "the tracks" or meaningful conversations about our life goals over a drink at Brunos. I truly value the friendship Elden and I have built over the many years we've known each other.
Groomsman
Jason has been one of my best friends from blacktop football at St. Catherine to intense games of four square at Brother Martin. Jason has always been a close part of my life and it has been a privilege to watch each other grow over the many years of friendship we've shared. Jason was the first of my friends to meet Penny at the Old Metairie institution that is Lee's hamburgers. Jason and his family have always made Penny and I feel welcome in their home and like a part of the family. He is just about the easiest person to get along with and a perpetual fan of Larry David, National Lampoon's Family Vacation, college football, and bad ice. Jason is one of a kind and always puts a smile on my face. He and his fiancé Katie are people that Penny and I know will be in our lives for many years to come!
Groomsman
Drake is probably the sweetest guy I know. We met during his freshman year of college when I recruited him to join a fraternity and he ultimately became my little brother. Drake was shy initially, but quickly came out of his shell and became one of my best friends throughout college. My favorite things about Drake are that he is always down for anything and that he treats Penny like a beloved big sister. I've loved watching Drake grow up from the freshman who ruined my couch, to the driven, career-focused grad student he is today. I have never doubted Drake's friendship and couldn't think of a more loyal person to stand by my side on this special day.
