Arrival time & Parking
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:00pm to allow time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins. Parking is limited, so we encourage guest to carpool if possible to make the most of available spaces. Parking is allowed at the venue overnight until 10am the next morning.

Dress code
Answer
We'd love for everyone to dress up for the occasion! Semi-formal attire fits the day perfectly cocktail dresses, midi dresses, jumpsuits for the ladies; suits or slacks with a dress shirt for gentlemen. Just bring your best smile and dancing shoes!

Bringing plus ones
Answer
We wish we could celebrate with everyone we adore, but due to limited space, we can only accommodate those named on the invitation. We ask that you please don't bring any plus ones or children unless given on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding, your presence means the world to us!

Are children invited?

We absolutely love your little ones! However we're keeping our celebration adults only, with the exception of the children in our wedding party. We truly appreciate you understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outdoors weather permitting, with cocktail hour both inside and out, then we will move indoors for dinner and dancing!

Will there be a bar?

We'll be celebrating with an open bar featuring beer, wine, non-alcoholic options, and our signature cocktails crafted just for the occasion. We can't wait to raise a glass with you.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" please no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do", We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

When should I RSVP?

We ask that you kindly RSVP by March 16th, 2026.

Is there a hotel nearby?
Answer
Yes, there are many hotels within a 15 min radius of our venue. We have a number of rooms blocked at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Richmond IL, please use code Matthew-may16 when booking. Comfort inn is another hotel option however we do not have a block at that hotel.

What kind of food will there be?
Answer
We’ll kick off the evening with passed appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by dinner from Slow Smoke BBQ. Slow Smoke is extra special to us — it’s where Matthew and I met and where our relationship started. They’ll be serving brisket, pulled pork, their famous mac and cheese, coleslaw. The food is incredible, and the people behind it are even better. We’re so excited to share a place that means so much to us with all of you!
