Busiest day on the Wolf River, Noah and Kayla found each other on the water. The connection was instant, they traded contact information, and the day went on. During the float, while Kayla and Noah talked endlessly, the tube flipped losing Noah's phone, wallet, keys, and other personal items. Some were recovered (like his keys and wallet), but the phone with contact to Kayla was lost. Noah found Kayla on Facebook later that night to send a message, and thus began the nickname 'River Babe' that everyone knew Kayla as for weeks afterward.
After talking as much as possible the following days after the trip, Noah picked Kayla up in Seymour to go to dinner and on a motorcycle ride. He took her to his favorite little sunset spot. There they sat watching the sun go down, talking about everything they could think of. Deciding that they couldn't end the night there, they went out for drinks and to (officially) meet Noah's friends who were also on the river trip. They stayed out all night, having the time of their lives, and learning about each other.
Noah drove out to Seymour to spend the day at graduation parties with Kayla. He even met her mom when they pit-stopped at the house on the way. On the drive back home, Noah asked Kayla if she wanted to officially be his girlfriend.
Noah suggested that they go for a lazy Sunday motorcycle ride. He drove all the same routes that they have rode together a hundred times, insisting that they were going to wait for the sunset to go to their favorite sunset spot. When they parked the motorcycle, Noah waited for her to turn her back before getting down on one knee. Little did Kayla know, but her sister was there to capture every moment leading up to, during, and after the proposal. The 'yes' was immediate with no hesitation.
On the 5 year anniversary of Noah and Kayla as a couple, they ask their loved ones to join them in celebrating their love at their wedding. Expect outpouring love, tons of fun, and lots of dancing as this couple starts their new life together.
