Greg and Brianna have known each other pretty much their entire lives. Growing up in a small town and sharing the same group of friends, they spent a lot of time together during middle and high school. It was not until their senior year that Brianna and Greg realized they were becoming more than friends. They spent their senior summer together attending concerts, graduation parties, and saying goodbye to friends as they were going off to college. August 25, 2008 was their first day of college (Go State!) and Greg asked Brianna to be his girlfriend. They spent their entire undergraduate college career together and it was nothing short of amazing! Brianna and Greg had the time of their lives at Penn State, but they knew at some point it as going to come to an end and they would have to enter the real world. Greg continued at Penn State achieving his Masters Degree, and Brianna moved home to begin looking for a job. Directly after Greg graduated with his masters, he was offered a job at an accounting firm in Bethesda, MD. Greg accepted the position, and moved to Bethesda to start his career. This is when their long distance relationship started. Brianna and Greg tried to make it a point to visit each other at least once a month, but some months it was harder than others. They both knew that the long distance could not last forever, so Brianna started applying for jobs near Greg's. The search did not take long, and Brianna was offered a job in Washington, DC working for a corporate childcare company. May 2014, Brianna and Greg moved in together. Greg and Brianna then began building their life together in Bethesda. They have met life long friends, attended more live sporting events than they can count, traveled to many cities, and have both developed in their professional careers. They have made Bethesda feel like home the past 6 years.

September 15, 2018 marked Brianna's 29th birthday. They began their day having breakfast at their local diner with friends, and making plans for that evening. They spent the day together doing what they do best - watching college football! Throughout the day Greg began giving Brianna a series of gifts. The gifts were all numbered and varied from her favorite snack, to flowers and then what Brianna thought was the end, dinner at one of their favorite restaurants. After dinner they made plans to meet up with friends for drinks at another one of their favorite bars in the city. On the way Greg made a suggestion to stop at City Center in DC. As they were walking Greg suggested they get a photo since they “forgot” at dinner. Greg handed off the phone, and as they were posing dropped to one knee and asked Brianna to spend the rest of her life with him. Fast forward to November 2018, where the couple's families threw them an amazing engagement party in their hometown. It was here that the couple announced they officially set the date for their special day: October 23, 2020. They can't wait to get married in front of their families and closest friends!
