Our Story It all started with a random FaceTime call one night. What began as a casual conversation quickly turned into late-night chats, inside jokes, and countless rounds of Fortnite (where we may or may not have spent more time laughing than actually winning). Eventually, curiosity got the best of us, and we decided to meet in person. Destination: Chicago. First date: Chick-Fil-A. Romantic? Absolutely. You can tell a lot about someone by how they handle waffle fries, and let’s just say, the chemistry was there from the first bite. Fast forward to January 20th, 2024—Ashley’s very first trip to New York. Between the cold weather, sightseeing, and the butterflies that just wouldn’t quit, Nick asked Ashley to be his girlfriend. Spoiler alert: she said yes, and so began a long-distance love story full of plane tickets, FaceTime dates, and countdowns to the next visit. Despite the miles between California and New York (2500 miles to be exact), our connection only deepened. Every reunion felt like home, every goodbye a little harder. Until one day, Nick decided enough was enough. In March of 2025, he packed up his life (and car) and drove a heroic 40 hours cross-country to California, just to be with Ashley. No playlist could truly capture the emotional rollercoaster of that road trip, but the destination made it worth every mile. Then, on April 20th, 2025, in a moment full of love (and probably a few happy tears), Nick got down on one knee and asked Ashley to spend forever with him. She said yes, and the rest is history in the making. Now here we are—ready to say “I do” with hearts full of gratitude, excitement, and joy. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve loved and supported us every step of the way. Thank you for being part of our story.
