Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you as we have an extremely limited capacity at our venue.

Question

How can we book our hotels?

Answer

We will follow-up with more details soon! There are a plethora of options in Fontainebleau and we will have a shuttle service from a central point in the village for our guests to/from the Château.

Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

Black-tie, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose when dancing begins!

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We adore your kids — and they will be the life of the ceremony, before dinner. But we want the rest of our wedding night to be your night off! Please make your arrangements accordingly to make this a reality.

Question

Is There A Shuttle To And From The Hotel To The Ceremony?

Answer

Depending on which hotel you are staying at, we will do our best to arrange shuttle service. More information coming on this soon!

Question

Why Fontainebleau?

Answer

For those of you who don’t know, Efe did his MBA at the world-renowned INSEAD, whose main campus is located in Fontainebleau, France. The town is the perfect little French town and there is enough to explore on a long weekend, if not longer! Efe also proposed in Paris November of 2021 so we always wanted to bring everyone back here to share our love for the city of Love! Needless to say, we recommend extending your trip to enjoy the area.

Question

What can we do in our free time in Fontainebleau?

Answer

Little more than 40 miles from Paris and accessible by train, Fontainebleau is a cinch of a day trip. The main sight to see is the Château de Fontainebleau, but you'll want to stay a while to savor the food and drink at places like the acclaimed L'Axel. It's also a perfect jaunt for the outdoorsy, too, with ample opportunities for bouldering and climbing in the plucked-from-a-fairy-tale forest that surrounds the town and has inspired artists for centuries.

Question

Where can I get my hair done?

Answer

Fontainebleau is rich with hairdressers and barber shops. We still recommend making an appointment in advance. Here are our top picks: 1- DESSANGE | 158 Rue Grande, 77300 Fontainebleau, France | +33 1 64 22 19 50 2- Saint Algue | 4 Pl. de la République, 77300 Fontainebleau, France | +33 1 60 72 78 97 3- So'Cut HairSpa | 23 Rue des Sablons, 77300 Fontainebleau, France | +33 1 64 23 06 75 4- Barbershop Selim | 37 Rue de France, 77300 Fontainebleau, France | +33 1 60 74 31 81
