One of two petrified waterfalls in the world. You can often go on a tour to Monte Alban and Hierve el Agua in the same day. There are natural springs you can get into as well.
Jardin Etnobotanico
A 2.32 acre botanical garden that features plants native to Oaxaca. You can see plenty of cacti and succulents in this area. It is right next to St. Domingo Church!
20 De Noviembre Market
Close to St. Domingo Church and the center of Oaxaca, you can find many open markets. 20 de Noviembre is famous for its "Meat Alley" - a great place for local cuisine.
