Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding will be at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis, Maryland. We're excited to have you all join us on the water and to be hosting the event at a venue that supports the conservation and preservation of the Chesapeake Bay!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The weather in Maryland in November can be a little unpredictable, so it might be a good idea to bring a jacket or shawl! We are asking our guests to dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. Also, weather permitting, the ceremony will take place on the beach so wear shoes you feel comfortable on sand in.

Jewish wedding ceremonies have a few unique traditions, but we (and the Rabbi performing our ceremony) will explain them along the way. Unfortunately, the venue can only seat so many people! All invited guests will be named on your invitations.

What about favors?

Answer

Rather than wedding favors, we've chosen to make donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)'s Maryland Chapter and the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF), two organizations that are close to our hearts. You can learn more about these organizations at namimd.org and dcabortionfund.org.
