Logan Airport
This is the closest airport to Salem, about 45 minutes (an hour and thirty if there is traffic). There are connections via the Silver Line (SL3) to the commuter rail station in Chelsea, which will bring you to Salem, if you're opting not to rent a car for the occasion.
Train
Newburyport/Rockport Line
This is the commuter rail from Boston's North Station that takes you right to Salem. There is a Silver Line connection from Logan Airport (SL3) that takes you to the Chelsea station, where the train will take you right on up to Salem!

When Lex first came to Salem, she stayed at an AirBnB...that ended up being two doors down from where Brian was living! There are plenty in Salem, that will end up being walking distance from all the festivities around town.
