Our Wedding Day

On our wedding day, we started with a morning onsen and a traditional Japanese breakfast, ready to embark on the most magical day of our lives. We hiked around part of Lake Chuzenji, nestled at 1269 meters above sea level, located at the foot of Mt. Nantai - one of Japan's highest natural lakes. As we began our hike, we encountered a few fly fishermen, but then found ourselves alone, surrounded only by the beauty of nature. After three hours of hiking, we stumbled upon the perfect boulder nestled 100 ft below the trail sticking out into the water, with stunning views of Mount Nikko-Shirane. It was there that we exchanged our hand-written vows and promised to love and cherish each other for the rest of our lives. As we looked into each other's eyes, we knew that this was just the beginning of a journey that would last forever. We took a few photos to capture the moment and share them with you, but it is the memories that will stay with us forever. The peacefulness of the mountain, the beauty of the lake, and the love that we shared were all we needed. It was the best day of our lives, and we would live it a million times over if we could.

Our elopement to Nikko, Japan, was a true reflection of our love - adventurous, spontaneous, and full of magic. It was the beginning of our happily ever after, and we will cherish that moment forever.
