Our Story They met on May 4, 2022, at AMC Theaters. What began as a joke and a playful bet that a friend wouldn’t get his number quickly turned into something neither of them expected. Three weeks later, they were officially dating, and not long after that, they were meeting each other’s families and realizing just how naturally our lives fit together. From the very beginning, time together felt easy. After only three months, they took our first trip as a couple, and before a year had passed, they had met most of each other’s extended families. A little over a year into our relationship, the bride traveled all the way to Vietnam to meet the rest of the groom’s family. No matter how much time they spent together, they never grew tired of one another. Everything shifted when the groom left for Air Force basic military training. Eight weeks passed with no contact, only letters. Without fail, the bride wrote every single day, sending love, encouragement, and reminders of home. When he graduated, the celebration was brief, as they immediately entered a season of long distance. Long distance has not been easy. It has come with challenges, growth, and more than a few ups and downs, but it has never slowed them down. Instead, it strengthened their commitment, leading them to an engagement and the joyful chaos of wedding planning. With just six months until their wedding and three and a half years together (over a year of that spent apart), they have learned to grow, adapt, and love without pause. Through every season, distance, and milestone, they have chosen each other every day, and they cannot wait to begin this next chapter together. With that said, the couple can truly say AMC Theaters truly do make things better. 💖
