We met on a group trip to New Orleans for Jazz Fest in 2011 (headlined by Arcade Fire and Lupe Fiasco). We got along great right off the bat and considered each other best friends almost immediately!

Andrew first asked me to go to dinner on September 1st, 2013. We planned to go to Tsunami a few days later. I was nervous to try sushi for the first time and luckily for Andrew, the sushi and the date both turned out great!

For our five year anniversary, Andrew planned for us to once again go to Tsunami. When we got there he insisted we go take pictures and once we got out on the terrace he proposed. I was shocked and said yes before he could even get a word out! Our parents were all there and we had a great night celebrating.
