Greg told me to keep Saturday, April 15th blocked out for him...and that's all he would say. On the morning of, he drove us out to Boulder, and pretended to get lost several times until we ended up in front of a skydiving school. He knew skydiving was on my bucket list. Before we jumped, Greg told me we were leaving all of our past baggage behind us and jumping into a new life. That evening, he took me to dinner at the rotating restaurant at the top of the Strat. When we arrived at our table, there was a bouquet of a dozen red roses (my favorites) waiting for us. Greg asked me to take one of the roses with us as we made our way up to the observation deck. It was while watching the sun beginning to set over the Las Vegas Strip that he pulled my ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee. After I said yes, "...a thousand times, yes!..." he told me the theme of the day had been getting as close to God as we could get. That's why we had gone skydiving, and why he proposed at the top of the tallest building in Las Vegas; to get as close to God as we could possibly get.

Greg and I met on the eHarmony dating site. He was one of the very first people I met after joining. To this day, we have no idea how we ended up in each other's feed. My dating radius was set to within 100 miles of my home in Los Angeles, and his was set to within 100 miles of his home in Las Vegas. Yet, somehow we ended up on each other's list of prospective partners. Greg reached out to me and the rest, as they say, is history!
