Why are There Two Ceremonies on the Schedule? / ¿Por qué hay dos ceremonias en el programa?

Answer

On Saturday, June 21st, we will be having a civil ceremony to be married by law. However, we have also chosen to get married within the Catholic Church the following day on June 22nd. Due to limited space in the church, this will be limited to close friends and family of the bride and groom, and a separate invitation will be included in your envelope. El sábado 21 de junio tendremos una ceremonia civil para casarnos por ley. Sin embargo, también hemos elegido casarnos dentro de la Iglesia Católica al día siguiente, el 22 de junio. Debido al espacio limitado en la iglesia, esto se limitará a amigos cercanos y familiares de la novia y el novio, y una invitación separada será incluida en su sobre.

Can I Bring a Plus One? / ¿Puedo Traer Alguien Más Conmigo?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests formally invited to the wedding. If you received a plus one, their name or the words "& Guest" will be written on the envelope next to yours. Debido al espacio limitado, solo podemos acomodar a los invitados formalmente a la boda. Si recibiste un acompañante, su nombre o las palabras "& Guest" se escribirán en el sobre junto al tuyo.

Can I Bring My Kids? / Puedo Traer Los Niños?

Answer

Due to limited space, we have opted to limit the amount of kids present at the wedding. We have reserved this space for parents who are traveling from out of state to attend the wedding. Debido al espacio limitado, hemos optado por limitar la cantidad de niños presentes en la boda. Hemos reservado este espacio para los padres que viajan desde fuera del estado para asistir a la boda.

Is the Wedding Outdoors? / ¿La boda es al aire libre?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place on a veranda that is fully covered. The walls open up to the outside (weather depending). The reception will be completely inside. Nuestra ceremonia de boda se llevará a cabo en una terraza que está completamente cubierta. Las paredes se abren al exterior (dependiendo del clima). La recepción será completamente en el interior.

What is the Attire? / ¿Qué es el atuendo?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal so we encourage you to wear cocktail attire such as suits and dresses. We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans, hats, or gym shoes. We also ask that you reserve traditional wedding colors such as white, creams, and ivories for the bride. Nuestra boda será semi-formal por lo que le animamos a usar trajes de cóctel como trajes y vestidos. Le pedimos amablemente que no use jeans, sombreros o zapatos de gimnasio. También le pedimos que reserve los colores tradicionales de la boda como el blanco, las cremas y los marfil para la novia.

What Time Should I Be There? / ¿A qué hora debería estar allí?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. We ask that you arrive to the ceremony space by 4:55pm so that we may start on time with no risk of the bride and groom seeing each other before the bride walks down the aisle. Anyone who arrives later than 4:55pm will have to wait until the bride walks down the aisle to enter the ceremony space. La ceremonia comenzará puntualmente a las 5pm. Le pedimos que llegue al espacio de la ceremonia a las 4:55pm para que podamos comenzar a tiempo sin riesgo de que los novios se vean antes de que la novia camine por el pasillo. Cualquiera que llegue más tarde de las 4:55pm tendrá que esperar hasta que la novia camine por el pasillo para entrar en el espacio de la ceremonia.
