We met at the Art Institute of Portland in our very first class. I walked into the room anxious for my first day of college and Zach was the only other person there. Long story short, at the end of the semester Zach finally got the courage to ask me out on a date and the rest is history.

Zach planned a trip for us to go back to Cannon Beach, Oregon. This is a place we have been to many times before but it's special because it's where we spent our first weekend away together. Zach carried the ring around with him all day waiting for the perfect moment but the weather was really windy and rainy so we ended up spending the evening on the patio drinking wine and listening to the waves. Then all of a sudden Zach fell out of his chair. I immediately asked him if he was okay, and as we both started laughing he pulls out the ring box from his pocket and asked "will you spend forever with me?" I said "YES" It was 11 years later & the perfect moment...
