We're getting married!

Like most modern-day love stories, we met on the dating app, Bumble. An app in which the girl messages first. So naturally, I hit Garrett with the infamous, "hey". We met in person on June 18th, 2018 and the rest is history!

On January 8th, 2021, Garrett and I were supposed to be in the Grand Canyon. However, a few days prior to our departure date, Garrett wasn't feeling well so we decided to cancel our trip. After he was feeling better, he INSISTED that we still take a little vacation, and now I know why. We decided to take our dog Odin and go to our favorite place, Duluth, MN. We spent just one night at the Pier B Resort Hotel. On January 8th, we went to Gooseberry falls before we left Duluth. Mind you it was FREEZING out. But prior to our originally planned trip to Arizona, Garrett wanted me to get a bluetooth tripod for my phone to take pictures. See how it all adds up?! So while we set up our tripod to take pictures, I remember getting frustrated that Garrett was making me hold Odin alone. Soon did I realize it was so he could get on one knee. Thankfully, I had the bluetooth remote in my hand and I somehow took some pictures of the moment through my shaking hands, fogged glasses, and tears! Best day ever!!
