Tyler and I met in high school and were strictly acquaintances. We had some mutual friends and would find ourselves hanging out all together on occasion. We also rode the same bus for some of high school, before I started driving the Buick.. Tyler and I were always the last two on the bus due to where we lived, so we'd always chat! I remember hanging out with him and some friends at the infamous Brock the Port, back when we were way too young to be there, and he helped me out when I drank too much fourloko!! Obviously, we each went off to college and did our own thing. Once I got back from community college, a friend and I went out to the lovely Red Jug Pub and met up with Tyler and his roommate. I remember thinking that he was Tyler Murtaugh from high school and it just felt so strange to me to even try to see where things could go. MONTHS later, after hanging out every weekend, going out for drinks with friends and having platonic sleepovers, we ended up having our first kiss at that same Red Jug! Years later I could not imagine being happier.
