We're getting married!

Our story began in 2010, when Quintin was simply Alicia’s best friend’s brother — the sweet, gentle boy who always knew how to make her feel better and gave the best hugs. Over the years, our friendship grew naturally. We were always close, always comfortable, and always connected in a way we didn’t yet understand. Music became our love language long before romance ever entered the picture. It started with a simple message from Quintin: "Die liedjie laat dink my aan jou - Stolen Dance by Milky Chance” From that day, the song-sharing never stopped. Quintin created a special playlist for us to share our songs, we stayed up talking until 5am, and opened our hearts sharing dreams, fears, childhood memories, and the deepest parts of who we are. And then, on one ordinary Wednesday night, everything changed. A lightbulb moment. We suddenly saw what had been growing for years — a connection built on laughter, safety, and a quiet kind of soul-recognition. What began as friendship blossomed into something undeniable. Our love became both slow and fast — slow because it took nearly a decade to reach this place, and fast because once we realized it, we simply knew. We were meant to be. We fell into a love built on loyalty and laughter, balanced perfectly between Alicia’s bubbly, warm energy and Quintin’s calm, steady heart. After years of friendship, late-night calls, dancing in living rooms, long drives, and gentle moments that stitched our lives together — we are finally here.
