FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, April 1st, 2023. We need a final headcount so that you will have a seat and a plate of food.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm, so please arrive by 3:45 at the absolute latest to avoid disruption.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no specific dress code, just preferably no jeans or t-shirts. Our suggestion is to wear clothing such as dresses and slacks, but it does not need to be very formal.

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

May in Michigan is very unpredictable. A snowstorm or a heatwave are both possible for that time of year. Keep an eye on the forecast when the date comes closer.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If the weather allows, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the couple, along with immediate family and the wedding party, will be outside taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can go indoors to the reception hall and enjoy drinks and light snacks.

Question

Will children and plus ones be invited?

Answer

If you RSVP on the website, your number of guests invited will show up when you enter your name. If you have any questions, please reach out to Leah or Michael. There will be an open bar at the wedding, so we are asking that your little ones stay somewhere else while you take this opportunity to kick back and help us celebrate!
