Resort Casual: Resort casual attire is a dress code that's relaxed, yet still fashionable and appropriate for more upscale settings. No: cargo shorts; flip flops; beach coverups. Yes: Breezy, casual sundresses; cute rompers; capris; white polo shirts and light oxfords; slacks or nice shorts; nice sneakers or boat shoes; nice sandals; dresses of almost all kind—a step above casual. Resort Formal: Normal formal, but with a nod towards a tropical climate. No: shorts; t-shirts; swimwear; coverups; golf outfits; boat outfits. Yes: A button-down dress shirt with a dinner jacket and slacks; light suits; cocktail dresses; full length dresses, including evening gowns; pantsuits; dress shoes. Travel Casual: You’ve made it. Dress for your flight. There will be a lot of sand. We recommend leaving the stilettos at home.
This is a three-night event. Check-in is on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Checkout is January 12, 2025. If you would like to extend your vacation, please make separate arrangements with Petit Lafitte.
No! We have rented out the entire resort. Our intention is to gift you all a mandatory vacation during which time we happen to get married.
Please fly into Cancun International Airport. We will have cars pick up our guests and take them to the resort. A pre-drive stop at the Margaritaville hut in the Cancun Airport parking lot is optional. We will provide transportation to the hotel for those arriving on Thursday, January 9 and departing Sunday, January 12. To arrange this with us, we will need to know what time your flight arrives. Please work this out in advance with us.

Please work with friends and family to see if you can double up rooms. There are various resorts along the coast as well. We would like everyone to stay on the property, but we can’t control everything.
