Although we've been married for almost a year now, we still want to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family. With the current vaccination rollout, we feel comfortable proceeding with our wedding reception on June 12. In order to protect our friends and family, especially those who are high-risk, we request that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID or receive a negative COVID test result prior to joining us on our special day. We would love to see you there, but completely understand if you are uncomfortable or unable to attend for any reason.
On May 16, 2020, we were married in a beautiful ceremony in Vic and Christy Pearson's backyard with our immediate families.
In light of the global public health crisis, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding celebration until next year. Our priority is everyone’s health and safety. We cannot, in good consience, gather so many people together at this time, even though we desperately want to see you all. We don’t think things will be sufficiently changed by June, and we wanted to be sure you’ll have time to reschedule your travel and accommodations. We will marry in a tiny, private ceremony this spring, and invite you to join us next spring in a celebration of our marriage as we reaffirm our vows. We’ll be sending out change-the-date notifications soon, once we determine the new date. In the meantime, we’ll be sure to update our website with any additional information about our celebration next year! We love you and hope you and all your loved ones are staying safe and healthy!
