We met on a blind date in Birmingham, Alabama, through our two good friends. Throughout the date we learned how intertwined our lives were without actually ever crossing paths. Both of us thought it was the best date we had ever had but assumed nothing would come about it. The summer of 2017 we stayed in touch and Pearson continued to reach out to Jill pursuing a friendship. Before we knew it we were making the 150 mile car ride to spend time with each other, and Pearson asked Jill out on their first official date! After a few months of intentional dating, Pearson asked Jill to be his girlfriend as they were walking across the Brooklyn Bridge!! The next 19 months were filled with lots of prayer, road trips, communication, laughter, and intentionality. Both Pearson and Jill had fallen in love with each other and knew they couldn't imagine life without the other by their side. Pearson asked Jill to marry him on July 26th, 2019 on Lake Lanier! SHE SAID YES!!!! We have been so thankful for the ways the Lord has guided us through dating and look forward to the ways in which He will grow us in our marriage.
