We're getting married!

Some say fate isn't a real thing, but it's hard to miss when it comes to the story of how we met. Whether it be that our moms used to work together, or that Jacob's Dad remarried and moved to McKayla's neighborhood in middle school, it's clear that the Universe kept pushing us together. What began as two casual friends in a neighborhood friend group blossomed into a friendship that both of us could always count on. We were inseparable and it was not until high school that we decided we wanted to "officially" date. 7 years later... here we are!

Jacob had planned a sudden "graduation" trip for me to Colorado for us to go hiking and rafting. I found it kind of odd that frugal Jacob wanted to go on another vacation because we had already went to Colorado earlier that year. During our trip I started to get kind of suspicious, but of course did not want to get my hopes up... I thought for sure we wouldn't get engaged until after he was done with medical school! Anyways, we went on a scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park when we pulled off at Forest Canyon and he popped the question!
