Bri’s perspective: The first time I saw him, freshman year of college, he was sitting across from me in class. I kid you not, I looked at my friend and said, “I want to marry that man.” For years I had my eye on him as we both lived different lives, occasionally crossing paths, until Christmas of my junior year. We were both single, so I made my move. All the sports teams got together for a Holiday concert, and at the end during the group photo, I ran up to him, jumped in his arms…….and he dropped me. Later that night he texted me to apologize, and the rest is history. p.s. Don’t worry, he’s been catching me every day since 🤍 Mike’s perspective: From the very first moment I saw Bri on Kings campus, I couldn’t get her out of my mind and needed to get to know her more. From the very first moment I got to meet her in our communications class my sophomore year (same day she mentioned), I knew she was the person I wanted to spend forever with. This fiery, passionate, and loving girl was everything I could have ever asked for and more. As the years passed by, and after that Holiday concert, I knew in my heart she was the woman of my dreams. Each and everyday I got to watch any room she walked into light up, learned what true love is, and saw how big her heart is. But the moment I knew I had found the love of my life and my forever person, was one random weekend towards the end of her senior year in college. I remember waking up early and looking over at her while she was sleeping. With the sun coming in filling the room, and both her and Harley peacefully asleep, I realized that I had won the lottery of life, I have found peace and a home because of Bri and wanted to spend each and everyday with her for the rest of my life. Almost a decade of sunny mornings later, and I still am the luckiest man in the world.
