Your Favorite Alt Comedy Couple

Casey and I met in 2016 on the open mic circuit in St. Louis. We found over two years of friendship we have a lot in common: similar music taste, similar senses of humor, and we even grew up about 20 minutes from each other in Jefferson County, Missouri. We weren't looking for anything at all; It's just that Casey's warmth, intelligence, and pragmatism matched my creativity, tenacity, and idealism. This year will be our 8th anniversary. We live in a cute, cozy apartment. We spend our days texting each other at work, and our nights analyzing comedy, cooking, and playing (mostly video) games. We have the kind of relationship we used to dream about, and now we want something we've never wanted for anyone else: involving the government.
