If guests have any symptoms we ask that you stay home. When you are feeling better, we will find another time to celebrate with you! We ask all guests to Covid test prior to traveling for the event and to wear masks in the airport and the airplane. During the event, masks are required for all indoor activities including using the restroom. We will have masks available for your use.
If you would like to give us a gift, we are asking for cash only! We will split any funds raised between our honeymoon fund and causes we're passionate about!
Due to limited venue capacity we ask that you not invite additional people! Check your RSVP to see if you have a plus one.
Both family photos and the reception will have limited paid parking available. We are looking into shuttle options to facilitate an easier transition between hotel/photos/reception/hotel!
The park, the reception venue and our condo are all wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators. There is accessible parking at the restaurant. Let us know any dietary or allergy restrictions and we will work with the restaurant to accommodate. Masks are required for all indoor spaces. Photos are outside and the reception is in a partially covered space with garage doors open to a patio. The ceremony and dinner will both be outside. Due to local noise regulations, we cannot play music outdoors so dancing will be inside. If there's anything we can do to make this event more accessible to you, please reach out!
Hotel block information and booking link along with details about transportation within the city is available under the travel tab on this website.
The twin cities area as a whole is on Dakota and Objiwe land. The reception takes place near a lake called Bde Maka Ska (pronounced be-DAY Mak-ah skaa) which translates to "Lake White Earth" or "Lake White Bank." To learn more about Bde Maka Ska please see: https://bdemakaska.net We live a ten minute walk from a place called Bdote. In Dakota, one translation of “bdote” is “where two waters come together,” and the bdote where the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers concur is an especially sacred site — the center of the world to the Dakota.
