The High Line
It's a beautiful park sprawling above the city streets created on what used to be the elevated train line. Also, directly across the street from our wedding venue!
Flatiron + Eataly
One of our favorite neighborhoods and close to Kyle's office, it is definitely worth checking out the Flatiron neighborhood and Madison Square Park( grab a burger from Shack Shake or eat at Eataly).
South Street Seaport
It unfortunately took a beating during Hurricane Sandy, but has since bounced back better than ever. See some old ships, grab a bite to eat, and admire some of the city's oldest buildings on the waterfront.
Freedom Tower & 911 Memorial
There are two attractions here - you can go to the top floor of One World Trade and you can see the 9/11 museum. You have to get in line for tickets for both, so may want to buy them ahead of time online. There is also the 9/11 memorial there, which is free.
Museum Mile
"Museum Mile" on 5th Avenue from 82nd to 105th Street is home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of the City of New York, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and many more
Tavern On The Green
Tavern on the Green is an iconic, landmark restaurant unlike any other. Built-in 1870 to house the sheep that grazed in Central Park it is now an upscale restaurant located within the park and has been the site of many movies, celebrities, and royalty.
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge and see some of the best views of Manhatten. Once you arrive in BK, you can explore some great shops, restaurants, and parks.
Blue Note
This is a great NYC jazz club. They have multiple shows per night. Be sure to get tickets in advance.
