Maid of Honor
Rachel is Sara's baby sister by 8 years. She is attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and studying Finance and Spanish. She is a dog lover, loves to bake, and is obsessed with wedding shows. It has been a blast having her as Sara's Maid of Honor! Sara loves Rachel's funny, passionate, and joyful demeanor.
Groomsman
Alek is the oldest son in the Prafke family. Beyond his profession as a teacher in the Owatonna School district, Alek is the soulmate to his partner Emily and a father to their dogs Hudson and Griffin. Alek is steadfast in his beliefs and will always stand up for the rights of others. Alek believes in people and the good that they bring to the world.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Jill met in grad school at UW-Eau Claire. Jill is our residential dancing queen, amazing storyteller and poodle lover! She lives in La Crosse with her husband Craig and their pup Luna. She is always there when you need her. Sara loves Jill's organized, silly, and passionate nature.
Groomsman
Connor is the second youngest of the Prafke boys. Beyond attending the University of Minnesota for communication and media studies, Connor spends his time writing and producing music, working as a freelance video editor, and dreaming big dreams. He also spends time walking his dog Gonzo. Connor is the most caring and compassionate individual out there.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Jenny met in undergrad at Minnesota State University, Mankato and then attended UW- Eau Claire together. Jenny is our residential adventure seeker and is always up for a party! Sara loves Jenny's adventurous spirit, and her fun and loving demeanor.
Groomsman
Mikinley is the youngest and arguably the most well adjusted of the Prafke boys. He is currently attending the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Mikinley has been himself since day one; a beautiful and genuine person who does not let the opinions of others stop him from being himself.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Cheyenne met in grad school at UW-Eau Claire. Cheyenne keeps us all grounded through her yoga and mindfulness (she’s taught yoga internationally) and pumped up by making us the best drinks and food! Cheyenne lives in Eau Claire with her cat O’Malley. Sara loves Cheyenne's positive, supportive, and happy attitude.
Groomsman
Although cousin Aaron is not biologically a Prafke boy, the brothers claim him as one of their own. Aaron is a special Education teacher. He lives with his Partner Katie and his their two dogs, Oswald and Oliver. Aaron is a creative mind and has a heart of gold.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Leah met in grad school at UW-Eau Claire. Leah is our justice-seeking, cat rescuing woman of the group. Leah is always up for time in nature and thoughtful chats. She lives with her husband Zack and their kitty Edie. Sara loves Leah's helpful, kind, and passionate attitude.
Groomsman
Ryan is Sara's little brother. Ryan is a hardworking business guy. He is a people person and knows how to get a party going. He can talk to anyone about anything! Ryan lives in Richfield with his fiancé Emmalee and their dog Tori. He is a passionate, fun, and happy addition to the wedding party.
Honor Attendant
Emmalee is Ryan's fiance. They are a perfect pair! Emmalee is a social worker by day and a dog mama by night! She has an amazing dog named Tori. Sara and Payton feel so lucky to have Emmalee make this day go smoothly. She is organized, passionate, funny, and kind.
Officiant
Sharon is Sara's Mom's bad-ass cousin, but they just call each other cousins. She is always up to adventure and travel. She is a lover of all people and animals. Sharon and her wife, Bobbi Jo, have the cutest pup, Tootie. She loves good beer and dogs, all the dogs!
Dogs of Honor
Maisel is Payton and Sara’s Aussiedoodle. She is crazy, curious, and way too smart. Maisel helped Payton propose to Sara with a cute sign! Sonny is Payton and Sara's Bischon, Shitzu mix. He's a cute little guy with a sweet and sassy personality. He has provided a lot of entertainment since joining our family in June 2020. They will not be attending the festivities but are too important in our lives not to mention!
