Our Story We’ve known each other most of our lives. From kindergarten through grade 12, we attended the same school, growing up side by side without knowing that one day we’d choose each other for life. On January 16, 2017, in grade 10, our friendship became something more — and from that point on, we’ve been inseparable. We found each other during a time when life was asking a lot of both of us. Challenges came early, and through them, we learned how to show up for one another in ways that really mattered — quietly, consistently, and without question. Our families have always been at the centre of our lives, and the strength, support, and love they’ve shown us have shaped who we are today and how we love each other. Much of our life together is spent outside. We love being on the lake, camping, fishing, canoeing, and finding peace in nature whenever we can. Along the way, we added Winnie — our mini goldendoodle named after Winnie the Pooh — who brings endless joy (and a little chaos) into our lives. At home, we love cooking together, playing card games that tend to get a little competitive, hosting friends and family, and singing our favourite songs at full volume in the car. We’ve always been a team — supporting each other in both big moments and quiet, everyday ones, making things happen together, and choosing one another through every season. Getting married feels like the most natural next step (and easiest yes) in a life we’ve already been building side by side, and we’re so grateful to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us
