Travel
When traveling to Highlandville, we want to make sure you take the best route!
Maps shows 3 different routes from Fayetteville, we recommend only 2 of the routes.
For an easier route without many turns and curves take: I-44 East and I-49 North to Joplin, then take EXT 69 to 360 East/Jame River FWY. You'll head to Springfield and then backtrack a bit to Highlandville. This route is a little longer than option 2 but an easier drive.
For backroads and scenic views: When approaching I-49 North to Fayetteville, take exit 64 and turn right onto Wedington Drive. From there, you'll continue and go through Huntsville, then turn north onto Highway 65, as demonstrated in the photo; you'll reach Highlandville from the South. This is our preferred route but be prepared, it is curvy!
With the second route, we do want to warn that Sawmill Rd is a little tight, so watch out for deer and other vehicles.
