Some love stories begin with a grand gesture — ours began with a Snapchat message right after senior year. Kenlee sent Payton a simple text, not knowing it would change everything. One message turned into a conversation, and not long after, we finally met and talked in person… at all places, the gym. (Who knew lifting weights would lead to lifting each other up forever?) Our first date was one for the books — bowling. Between trying to impress each other with strikes (and laughing at the gutter balls), something just clicked. What started as a fun night quickly became the beginning of something real, steady, and full of joy. Over time, we built a relationship rooted in laughter, friendship, and the kind of love that feels both exciting and peaceful. And then came November 16, 2024 — Payton’s birthday. Kenlee had been planning a surprise, and in true romantic-plot-twist fashion, he absolutely delivered. With a thoughtful, heartfelt proposal, he turned a birthday into a moment we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Now we’re here, ready to celebrate the beginning of forever.
