After a few weeks of interacting on social media and Snapchat, Payton asked Jordyn out to brunch on a Sunday morning, March 3, 2019 to be exact. It should be noted that Jordyn added Payton on Snapchat making the "first move". Although she played it cool, Jordyn was freaking out inside. We went to PubW and had a great time, with many more hang out sessions to follow in the days and weeks to come, and the rest is history.

Two years after our first trip to Seaside, Florida with Jordyn's family, we returned to those beautiful beaches for another summer vacation. This specific trip was planned long before we actually went, as Payton had a plan all along. After our first full day at the beach, we went on a drive and then went home to clean up for "family photos". Payton, Jameson (Allison's boyfriend), and Jordyn's dad went to "get drinks" after shortly getting ready, and when the two didn't return with Jordyn's dad when it was time to head to the beach, Jordyn started getting suspicious. As they pulled up to the spot the boys "already found," Jordyn's family took all of her belongings so she had nothing in her hands. Jordyn started walking down the boardwalk towards the stairs, and from the top you could see "MARRY ME" spelled out in roses in the sand with Payton waiting patiently. As soon as Payton saw Jordyn the tears started falling and he guided her to the rose petals where he gave the most beautiful proposal speech, got on one knee, and pulled out the most beautiful ring. It was a dream come true. Fast forward to over a year later and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all in March to finally tie the knot!
