Forever and Always

Our story began with a blind date—one of those “just go, what’s the worst that could happen?” kind of nights that turned into the best thing to ever happen to us. From that very first conversation, we clicked in a way that felt effortless and real. The first date was spent at Firefly in downtown Traverse City. We bonded over our mutual love of travel, cute pictures of our Golden Retriever (Moe), and mint chip ice cream. Conversations were easy and before we knew it, we had spent over five hours with each other! Over the past year, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and a whole lot of dog hair. We also added a new puppy to our home to love and snuggle! Whether we’re out exploring somewhere new or just curled up at home with our pups, every moment together feels like the start of another great adventure. On May 11th, 2025, Conner took me on a date that was labeled a “birthday date”. We took the drive to Traverse City and ate lunch at Firefly, just as we had on our first date. We then drove to Sutton’s Bay to walk on the pier like we had on our second date. After walking the pier, Conner brought me to the beach, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him! Our parents were on the beach waiting for us and helped celebrate later at Hop Lot Brewery. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all the people who’ve supported and loved us along the way.
