Our love story has been in the making since before we were even born. Our moms worked together, and one day, while at work, my mom found out she was expecting. In shock, she shared the news with Cade’s mom who laughed and said, “I think I might be expecting too!” and sure enough, she was. From that moment on, everyone joked that it was a race to see who would arrive first. The twist? We ended up being born on the exact same day: February 22, 2002. However, we never went to the same school or even hung around each other. Though we had many mutual friends, we never once met, but we knew about each other from our moms telling us our birth story. That was until 21 years later, Cade FINALLY decided to message me and the rest is history. We love to say that the number 22 is our lucky number, so we got engaged on our birthday & which is why we are getting married with a date of 22 (August 22)!
