Why an Ann Arbor wedding?

Answer

Ann Arbor holds a very special place in our lives. It is where we first met AND truly believe the Lord had His hand in our life throughout our time studying at Concordia. Seeing His faithfulness throughout our relationship has been very special. It only makes sense to celebrate what He has brought together at the exact place that He did so! We know many of you are traveling to celebrate us. We appreciate you and your willingness to celebrate with us in Ann Arbor!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors, while the reception will be outdoors. The reception dinner is inside a covered/enclosed tent and the dance floor is located in a barn with one open side. Hopefully this will help cool you down while busting a move on the dance floor! We recommend that you bring along a light sweater for the evening!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with more people, we ask that you please refer to your RSVP and kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if there is one listed.

Can I bring my baby?

Answer

YES! Children under the age of two might not be added on your RSVP. This is simply for seating/food arrangements. Please feel free to bring them!

Where can I get on the shuttle?

Answer

You may load the shuttle at the Double Tree Hotel. The shuttle will depart from the Double Tree Hotel to Sutton Barn at 4:15, 4:45, and 5:15. The shuttle will pick up and take guests back to the Double Tree Hotel at 9:30, 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30!

Where should I park at the ceremony?

Answer

When you pull in to Concordia University Ann Arbor, there will be multiple parking areas. We ask that, as you are able, please utilize parking lots D and C. These parking lots are located to the right, when you turn into the campus at the main drive. For our guests that require a closer walking option, there are handicap spaces available in parking lot E, which is located directly to the left when pulling in on the main drive.
