AGGIE BLING TO ENGAGEMENT RING We met whenever Colton walked into the Aggie Ring Office to order his TAMU Aggie Ring. I had been working in the Aggie Ring Program for a few years and never thought I would meet my person while taking ring orders. Yet, whenever Colt sat at my desk and we clicked immediately, I knew he was something special. We have been inseparable ever since. We now both have our Aggie Gold and we love that they brought us together, but our favorite rings will always be the ones on our left hands.
I had been planning to ask Payton to marry me on Saturday, the 22nd day of May, for almost a month. The plan was to ask her at Enchanted Rock and then head on into Fredricksburg, Texas to meet with our family and hopefully celebrate a yes. On the 22nd I was thrown a curveball with severe thunderstorms in the area, but decided to stick to the plan anyways. We ended up being very fortunate that the rain quit as soon as we pulled up to Enchanted Rock. I was able to ask Payt to marry me underneath a century old oak tree in the heart of Texas. Afterwards we headed into Fredricksburg and ate with our family. I can’t thank them enough for helping me surpirse Payt. Oh, and she said yes.
