We know that flights are expensive and that in this economy, every penny counts. Some things we have found that help are booking your flights pretty far in advance, if you are simply searching to get an idea of prices, use incognito mode on google. Sometimes when you search flights too much it can raise the price. Also try to book your flights on a Tuesday after midnight. Currently in most cites, flights for about 4- 5 days round trip for economy are around $540. Try to buy miles with your preferred airline company as flights can sometimes be cheaper when you pay with miles. We recommend packing a good eye mask, noise cancelling headphones, melatonin gummies to help sleep, chewing gum, a good set of skincare eye or face masks to help with any puffiness during and after flying, a really good neck pillow, and compression socks - trust us. What is Colorful Tie?

Answer

Colorful tie is something we came up with after not finding an adequate name for the dress code. Basically this means that we would love to see everyone dressed in a beautiful color! Guests are not permitted to wear black or white. this includes suits, but does not include your button up shirt under your suit. We would love to see you dress up like its the Met gala! Wear the fanciest of party clothes and if you need help, Please don't hesitate to contact us!

Answer

We do have a strict guest list, on your invitation we have marked the number of guests we have allotted for your party. Any unexpected guests will not be allowed. While we love your little munchkins, this wedding is 18 and up, no children will be permitted. If you have a child under two or feel uncomfortable leaving the country without your children, we ask that you book your room in the Town of Birr and we can provide a list of childcare from the wedding venue's resources. Additionally, no rsvp will be accepted without a flight confirmation number attached.

Dinner Menus

Friday night is still to be determined. Saturday night will have a full menu, we would suggest a very light lunch. We take all dietary restrictions seriously, however the menu is very large and we promise there will be plenty of food provided throughout the evening. We have decided on a street taco dinner, which includes chorizo and chicken options.

But What Will I Wear?

Answer

The weather in Ireland is a little unpredictable, so pack accordingly. It will be a little chilly with some rain! There is a possibility of some warm weather but I would recommend lots of layered outfits. Pack some rain boots and a rain jacket too! Also please remember to pack outlet adapters!

We are well aware there will be lots of questions, so always feel free to reach out! Payten will be organizing most travel plans for you once you land, Breakfast is provided by the hotel you are staying at, Dinner on Friday and Saturday are provided. If you are planning to stay and enjoy Dublin or other parts of Ireland, we highly recommend the Temple Bar, The Guinness Factory, The Giants Causeway, Literally any distillery, and Seans Bar - The oldest bar in Ireland! We hope that you all take this opportunity to travel and enjoy yourselves!
