When should I RSVP by?

Answer

In order to secure your travel rates, we strongly encourage you to RSVP and book your trip by November 1st. Upon booking your trip, an estimated $350 deposit is required and the final payment is due 4-6 weeks prior. The deadline for RSVP's is February 1st, so we can finalize all the details for your travel and accommodations. We know it’s a destination event, so we want to make sure everything is smooth for you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that guests dress in semi formal to formal wedding attire and encourage you all to wear colors of the sunset (Red, orange, yellow, pink, purple)! Ladies- Any floor length, midi or cocktail dresses work for women. Opt for bright spring or summer colors, avoiding any shades of white, brown, black, green, or blue. Gentlemen- wear either a suit or a nice button up shirt following the sunset colors. This can be paired with or without a tie and worn with a pair of nice slacks, khaki, or dress shorts.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a “plus one,” you’re welcome to bring a guest! If your name is listed alone on the invite, please note that we’ve not been able to accommodate additional guests, and we kindly ask that you celebrate with us solo.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We truly appreciate your generosity and love, but we are not registered for gifts. Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately, it will get chilly after sunset!

Where do I fly into?

Answer

You will fly directly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN), from there you will travel to the resort located in Playa Del Carmen (roughly a 40 minute drive).

Can I stay outside the resort?

Answer

We would not recommend staying outside The Fives. We would love to spend time with all of our guests over the wedding weekend!

Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Yes! A valid passport is required to travel to Mexico. If you don't already have one, we recommend applying as soon as possible — processing can take up to 6–8 weeks.
