We matched on Hinge! TSP: “I thought, oh an archeologist, even if this doesn’t work out it should be interesting” DMH: “I was looking forward to talking to her. She was hot and interesting.” We met up for an outdoor distance pandemic date at the San Diego Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. Right away there was some playful chemistry. By the end of the date we walked around the rose garden and kissed sitting on a blanket in the grass. From there we continued to talk, grow, travel, move in together, adopt a second dog, move across the country, and now get engaged!! So much more is yet to come and we can’t wait to share it with the people we love who love us back!

We have had so many amazing meals at restaurants every time we travel! But our five course food and wine pairing at the Korean-French restaurant in Paris was incredible! DMH: “I’ve gotten really into cooking. So every meal that Taylor really likes is also special for me”

Honestly doing anything together is fun! But we have started doing classes together in different skills or interests and those are great new experiences! DMH: “Honestly watching Gilmore Girls is pretty special to me. But also the way we play cooperative games, and Dungeons and Dragons” TSP: “I appreciate how we both like similar but different experiences. Watching TV is a comfort space for us but also talking, and sharing. Dylan has really opened me up to more concerts and I’ve taken him to museums. We play games! One of my favorite past times when the weather is good is picnics reading in the parks with the dogs.”

DMH: “there are so many! Picacho, Paris, Wineries, museums…” TSP: Our Valentine’s Day trip to Dylan’s favorite camping spot, Picacho, CA. We went for the long weekend and it was amazing to spend that time together in such a cool and important place to him. Plus I have a special love for the desert too! Going to Paris fall 2023! DMH: “the catacombs were fucking cool!” TSP: “yeah! And the train trip to the countryside to see Monet’s house and garden.” But also driving across the country to live in Maryland together and see what comes up is a pretty great adventure to do together. Dream honeymoon locations? Our travel dream list is so long, we can’t narrow it down! TSP: Greece/ Japan/ Croatia/Italy DMH: New Zeland/ Japan/ Greece
