Maid of Honor
Shaeleigh is Hannah’s older sister and her Maid of Honor. The two grew up incredibly close, sharing everything from childhood games like their made-up “Red and Blue Ninja” to Thrillville on the Wii and later TikTok scrolling when Hannah came home from college. As the classic older sister, Shaeleigh loved to tease Hannah—but always in good fun. A fun fact about Shaeleigh is that she creates exciting shows and activities for her kids at the YMCA.

Lena Stangel was Hannah’s college roommate in the freshman dorms at Ohio University and later in their first apartment—and she even takes credit for introducing Hannah and Jason. Some of Lena’s favorite memories are the many crazy adventures they shared as roommates. A fun fact about Lena is that she loves to sew and crochet.

Emily is Hannah’s college engineering friend from Ohio University. Along with her roommate Jeannette, she took Hannah under her wing junior year and became an important part of her life during the final years of college and beyond. Their friendship began as lab partners in a class that gave them both headaches. One of Emily’s favorite memories is that first lab partnership, along with a girls’ weekend visiting Hannah in Virginia to meet her cat, Remy. A fun fact about Emily is that she speaks two languages.

Jeannette is Hannah’s college engineering friend from Ohio University. Along with her roommate Emily, she took Hannah under her wing junior year and became part of her core friend group through the end of college and into adulthood. Jeannette’s favorite memory is their spring break trip to Nashville—fondly remembered as “unhinged Dad Hannah.” She’s also the official record keeper of the group, known for tracking everyone’s funniest quotes.

Claire is Hannah’s oldest friend from high school. They became friends junior year after realizing they had the same lunch period, and their friendship quickly took off. One of Claire’s favorite memories is their late-night car chats about whatever high school drama was unfolding at the time. They were each other’s main support during the transition to college and can always pick up right where they left off. A fun fact about Claire is that she’s very thrifty.

Tonya is Jason’s older sister, someone he has always looked up to and learned from. From childhood adventures to life’s big moments, she’s been a constant presence, and having built a friendship with Hannah along the way, it’s especially meaningful to have her standing with the bride on this day.

Adam and Jason have been friends since childhood, bonding over shared hobbies and interests that have kept them close through the years. After high school, they spent a few years working together before Jason made the move to Virginia. Their long-standing friendship and many shared memories make Adam an important part of Jason’s life and a perfect groomsman.

Harrison is one of Hannah’s younger brothers and her fellow middle child. While they spent plenty of time tormenting each other growing up, they became very close as they got older—thanks in part to their similar personalities and sense of humor, which makes things interesting whenever they’re together. Harrison is currently studying business at the University of Kentucky and has many exciting paths ahead of him.

Carson is Hannah’s youngest brother and is currently a high school student. He and Hannah have always shared a fun, close relationship, with many of her favorite memories from when he was little. Carson plays on his high school football team and hopes to attend Penn State to study business and ministry—while continuing his football career.

Austin and Jason have been friends since their younger years, sharing plenty of memories growing up and staying in touch over time. From hanging out and catching up whenever life allowed, to plenty of easy laughs along the way, Austin has always been a great friend to Jason. His long-standing friendship makes him a great choice to stand beside Jason as a groomsman.
