After of summer of many excuses for Payge to visit Jon back in Lacrosse, Jon finally asked Payge out. He did it during a walk by UWGB. If you ask Jon he had no idea if Payge had said yes, due to Payge's exceptional way of making everything awkward. After all Jon was Payge's first boyfriend.

On an early Friday afternoon, Jon went to pick up Payge at her apartment. Once Payge finished getting ready for a date night, Jon decided to give Payge an early Christmas gift. He placed a box in her small apartment christmas tree when she wasn't looking. He then stated that there was gift waiting in the tree for her. Payge went to look hoping to find a certain something, but she very quickly found a pretty necklace instead. This ruined Jon's original plan! With quick reaction, Jon said that she had one more present in the tree. Payge went to look one more time. As she was looking, she heard Jon's knee crack on the way down to one knee. She turned around and he popped the question.

The countdown continues. Memories to be made. We are ready for a lifetime adventure together for the rest of our lives!
