Flight Information

 We recommend flying into Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD) in Ahmedabad or Vadodara International Airport (BDQ), which are the closest airports to our wedding venues. Please note that AMD airport is about 2.5 hours by car from Vadodara. Suggested travel dates for our joint events: Arrival: February 8, 2025 (so you’re settled in for all events) Departure: February 11, 2025 (or later, if you’d like to explore!) Please share your flight details with us so we can help coordinate logistics and arrange group transportation to and from the venues.

Train Travel (Optional)

Vadodara is well connected by rail if you are traveling within India: Vadodara Junction Railway Station (BRC) is one of the busiest stations in Gujarat and has direct trains to major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. From Ahmedabad Airport, you can also take a taxi/Uber/OLA to Ahmedabad Junction railway station and then a train to Vadodara (~1.5–2 hours).

Complimentary bus transportation will be provided to and from the hotels and the venues on both days so you don’t need to worry about local travel.

Other Notes & Tips

Currency: The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR). ATMs are widely available, but carrying some cash is useful for taxis, tips, and small purchases. Also note that major credit cards are also widely accepted (recommended). Dress code: Wedding events in India are colorful! We’ll share outfit suggestions in advance so you know what to pack. Weather in February: Vadodara is pleasant in February (average highs 82°F / 28°C, lows 60°F / 15°C). Light layers are recommended for evenings.
