Kathleen was the very first friend Payal made upon moving back to the US. They both had the same 8th grade English class, and on the first day of school, Kat was the first person to smile at Payal. Kathleen has also come over to Payal's house to clean the dishes, eat unhealthy food, and play Skylanders together for hours. Outside of that, Kat is terrible at technology and occasionally updates her Facebook status to the name of the person who's profile she is trying to get to.
Daniel Sakya
Best Man
Daniel and Michael met freshmen year at Texas State University when they were 18. Both in a new environment, they quickly bonded and became best friends. Try not to speak to Daniel in Spanish because he's not from Mexico. Back in college Michael and Daniel lived together, took classes together, worked together, and partied together. It was then they decided that we were going to be the best man in each other's weddings and that hasn't changed in 17 years. Michael is excited to have his brother to be his best man. Daniel likes to work out and wear a V-neck/sh-medium shirt. Look for the guy with a big head at the wedding.
Megan Garcia

Payal did NOT like Megan when she first met her. Megan was very friendly and was friends with all of Payal's friends. Who did this girl think she was? Apparently she was a future best friend. Megan has the biggest heart and is always down for an adventure, whether it's New York, Vegas, St. Pete, or the Bahamas! Adventures with Megan include sparkly dresses and Jimmy Choos! No, really. If you are looking for someone to wear tutus with and go gallavanting around Central Park, Megan will be there in full support!
Xazoc Campos
Groomsman
Xazoc and Michael were roommates for 10 years so this guy probably will know anything and everything about Michael. Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Mexico, China, Bermuda, Colorado, Chicago are just a few of many places they have created memories. Xazoc can pass out anywhere and nothing will wake him. Don't turn up the heat when he is using the bathroom. Extra bonus points if you can guess where he is from. Extra Extra bonus points if you can pronounce his name.
Cathryn Caldwell
Bridesmaid
Cathryn and Payal are the type of friends that pretend a one person job requires two people, and they did exactly that when they worked at Enterprise-Rent-A-Car together. They treat every day off they have together as a mini-vacation and never fail at making unforgettable memories. Cathryn and Payal also treat their home like a warzone if they find a spider or a wasp anywhere nearby.
David Meinhardt
Groomsman
Michael is still not sure how this groomsman made it out of his home country, but he is one awesome Venezuelan. Michael and David enjoy hanging out together, especially when it involves the Cowboys and Barcelona. Unlike the other "bad influences" groomsmen, David is one of the good ones. He has a big heart and is genuine to others. Michael and Payal are excited for him to officiate their wedding ceremony.
Krystal Bordner

Krystal is the type of friend that will walk up to a random person and ask them if the person they were just talking to in the checkout line of a restaurant was famous, only to find out that the random person was just talking to another random person - and we have to scurry out of there as quickly as possible to avoid any more awkwardness. Always a good laugh around this woman! Payal and Krystal also survived living together in a house that was falling apart top to bottom. They promised not to tell each other's parents about the mistake they made on renting a house without doing any kind of research on it first!
Jason Hernandez

Is there anything this man doesn't know how to do? If you need a guy to take your motorcycle apart and never put it back together, you have found your guy. The groomsmen list would not be complete without Michael's brother from another mother. Michael has known Jason's entire family for years and has spent countless Christmas' together. Speaking of mother, ask them about "Letters from Iwo Jima" DVD and "Panda Express gift card" when you get a chance. Hey Jason, Michael is keeping Ted BTW. Pho Thai Son soon?
Jordan Hicks

Jordan is the bravest friend of all. She has defended Payal and Cathryn against spider invasions countless times when they were roommates. Jordan is always down for mimosas and brunch - the best meal of the day, which works out very well for Payal. Unfortunately for them, brunch usually turns in a 48 hour affair and they spend the rest of their week piecing together what happened and how they made it out alive. No wheelchairs needed the following week...at least for one of them!
Blaine Middlebrooks

Introducing to you the most non-country...country guy ever. Blaine's birthday is only a few week before Michael's but 50 years apart. Chilifest in College Station and Musicfest in Steamboat Colorado have been Michael and Blaine's favorite Texas country music events every year for the past 12 years. They have tons of fun on each trip plus a blast in everything they have done in Austin in all of those years. Good luck trying to get a picture of him.
Gentry O'Neal

Gentry and Payal met through Michael, and Gentry's first words to Michael about Payal were, "That girl does NOT like me!" Sounds like it takes Payal a little while to warm up to new friends but that's when you know you got yourself a bridesmaid! Gentry has also almost annihalated an entire post office one time when they told her that they would deliver TSwift shirts late for her concert! Thankfully they valued their lives and everyone survived.
Ryan O'Neal

Cowboys game, UT games, Six Street, fireball shots, F1, Tswift, X games, St Pat Day, NYE, Bdays, wurstfest, river float, Barge Party......Ryan is Michael's newest friend out of all the groomsmen but it feels like they have been friends for 20 years. Boy's night out usually ends up with a text from Gentry next morning asking "What da hell did yall boys do last night?"
Mira Patel

Payal and Mira have been two peas in a pod for as long as Mira has existed, just as their moms were throughout their childhood. You don't pick your family, but you do pick your friends and Payal is lucky enough to have been stuck with Mira since the day she entered the family! Mira and Payal also try to work out together and usually start with high hopes of Jillian Michael's 30 minute work out, only to end in Youtube cat videos.
Victor Arteaga

Can you believe that 2% of Jimmy Johns and Whataburger's annual revenue comes from one man? SXSW and ACL are some of Michael's favorite times with Victor. No wristband needed. Upstairs is not going to be the same anymore without Victor sleeping in until 2pm. Victor likes to go to DJ shows 200 times a year. Of course, they are ALL his favorite DJs from childhood.

Emily and Payal bicker like an old married couple. They make funny jokes that other people don't get and probably spend too much time together 5 days a week. Payal and Emily worked together briefly at Enterprise and now together at Indeed. Unfortunately, for their boss - they are both on the same team. He strategically seats them far away from each other every quarter.

J is one of the most adventurous guys you'll ever meet. Michael and J have done many trips and adventures together. "Who cares. Let's just get lost". Chinese girls think he is a celebrity and admire his arms. If a zombie apocalypse breaks out, come hide with J and Michael, they have enough guns and ammo to protect everyone. Jeeping it.

Payal and Roberta met in college during rush week for Alpha Psi Omega. Funny how digging a hole in the ground in middle of the night to pass the test and be a part of an organization really gives your friendship a turn for the best! Payal and Roberta also no longer drink white wine, but that's a story for another time!
Matt Jackson

Matty Matty Matty.....Some of the funniest stories in Michael's life come from this guy. You'll laugh about it so hard it will hurt you to the core, and some stories shine like a black pearl. Matt likes to have a good time and Michael learned a lot from him about hunting, fishing, building, shooting, outdoors, etc. There is nothing Matt can't build or fix with his hands. Of course gambling requires using hands too.
