We both started our first travel therapy contract in New Mexico at an inpatient rehabilitation facility, exactly one week difference in start date. We were placed on the same hall, Jeremy as the PTA and Paxton as the OT. From there life was never the same again...with a little help from our travel friend Nikki and Jeremy's best friend Reed :) As our NM contact came to an end, we decided to test our relationship and try long distance to see if it was really going to work. Jeremy went to a skilled nursing facility in FL and Paxton went to a hospital in MO. We ended up talking on the phone almost every second outside of work and sleeping. We then decided to do another contract together, but quite honestly we knew we never wanted to do another rotation a part. We ended up going to a skilled nursing contract in Oregon for 6 months because of the work flexibility and access to travel opportunities. We have now completed a travel assignment in AZ where we got ENGAGED and are onto our next rotation in WI. Our travel therapy life has given us amazing opportunities to travel. We have been so blessed to have visited so many beautiful places, here are some: - White Sands National Park - Zion National Park - Bryce Cannon National Park - Mount Rainier National Park - Olympic National Park - North Cascades National Park - Redwoods National Park - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Lassen Volcanic National Park - Pinnacles National Park - Yosemite National Park (where we got engaged!) - Sedona - Seattle, Washington - Oregon Coast - Hawaii - Mount Hood, OR
