Ponce City Market
On May 26, 2017, we went here on our first date! PCM is a trendy, repurposed Sears building that has tons of restaurants and shops and an amusement park on the roof! Must try foods include Hop's Chicken, King of Pops, and Dancing Goats Coffee Bar. After grabbing a bite, we recommend taking a stroll on the Beltline! Keep an eye out for those tiny doors :)
West Midtown
West Midtown is Paxton's favorite area of ATL! We recommend trying amazing queso and guac at Taqueria del Sol, a wine flight at Barcelona Wine Bar, or a latte at Brash Coffee Roasters (a coffee shop made out of a storage container)! We spent countless nights on this end of the city at Ormsby's, Little Trouble, and The Painted Duck and highly recommend the late night menu at Marcel.
The Battery Atlanta
We've been on many dates to see the Braves play at Truist Park (although we still lovingly call it Suntrust Park). Next door is The Battery, a cool collection of restaurants, stores, and bars (we celebrated New Years Eve here in 2018)! We suggest stopping by Sugarboo & Co., Jeni's Ice Cream, Superica, or Punch Bowl Social.
Chalktoberfest 2022
Enjoy your afternoon sampling craft beers, enjoying live music from local artists, watching professional Chalk Artists chalk the streets, and eating great food at the beautiful downtown square of Marietta. Free to attend.
