Sydney: “I had joined the app after moving home. I was in between jobs and wanted to meet new people that could eventually become friends to hangout with. While scrolling, I noticed this one guy who was wearing a KC Royals hat in his photo. His smile and adorable dimple caught my attention. So, I clicked on him. And what do you know?! It was a match! We had our first date at Old Chicago and went to the movies. From there, everything just seemed to mesh. However, a couple months into dating, we separated for a short time. During that period, we still talked a bit. This amazing man even helping care for me after a night out with co-workers. At that point in time, I knew. I knew with so much clarity that that was the man for me. We talked and worked out the issues we had had previously making our relationship even better off. We have dated for close to 3 years. On New Years Day 2021 at 1 am, he decided it was time. At home, I turned around to give him a hug and he gave me the best gift by asking me to be his wife. I am so excited to be marrying the man who I love with all my heart, who can make me laugh on my worst days, and has the kindess heart. I love you Derrick and can’t wait to be with you forever!”
