Question

Wedding Celebration has been Canceled

Answer

As of 3/16: Welp- things escalated really quickly over the weekend. It became obvious last night that it would be socially irresponsible to hold a wedding ceremony that requested friends and family to travel and be in large group settings against the advice of the CDC. We have thought through all our options, and at this time, the wedding ceremony as originally planned has been canceled. We will be getting married on 5/1 in an intimate ceremony with our parents. A formal announcement will be sent out to notify all guests of our decision. We appreciate all the love and support during this time. Wash your hands, don't touch your face and stay healthy. Love- Ashley & Matt

Question

Holy Cow- Are you guys still getting married in the midst of the Coronavirus?!

Answer

As of 3/15: Beloved Family & Friends, As you all know, these past few weeks have been a time of unprecedented concern and uncertainty. Needless to say, these are not the conditions we had envisioned for our “big day.” After much thought and consideration, however, we have decided to move forward with our wedding plans on May 1, 2020. While we hope to celebrate with as many of you as possible, we understand that many may not be able to attend as originally planned – especially those having to travel – and that plans may need to be modified last minute. As such, we ask that you please RSVP with your best intentions at this time and take comfort in knowing that we have made modifications to accommodate this uncertainty. There will be no hurt feelings if plans need to be changed, as we trust you will be celebrating with us in spirit! We will post any updates on our website, including the potential of having to cancel our ceremony if necessary. Thanks for all the love and support!
