WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

There was no surprise that Jake and I were looking for love in all the wrong places. Internet dating!! I know crazy scary right?! Well I guess there was just something about "us" that clicked. Being total opposites we both decided it would not work... although we could not stop texting each other. Two years later, we are inseparable and have been since day one. Jake is the love of my life, I just can't imagine one day without him.

Being deep into my school work, Jake wanted to take an entire Saturday and go to Old Forge. I was concerned about going because of the amount of work I had to complete, but Jake was persistent. It was a beautiful day despite the rain. Jake knowing I love everything fall and the changing of the leaves, we road the chair lift up McCauley Mountain. We walked around a bit and waited for the observation deck to clear (best place to look at leaves). It was finally our turn to take some beautiful fall pictures! I of course walked ahead because I wanted that certain viewing spot. While taking pictures, not knowing what was about to happen, Jake walked over and just had that look... and I knew! It was absolutely perfect! He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes!!! #ForeverFink *10-2-21*
