FAQs

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3 o'clock.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 3 o'clock. Cocktail hour begins at 5 o'clock. From the time our ceremony ends to the start of cocktail hour, you may stay on site and mingle while enjoying a cash bar, head over to the hotel lobby and relax, head back to your hotel room to freshen up, or explore the surrounding area. Open bar will start when cocktail hour begins and continue the rest of the night.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrees. There will be a chicken, meat, fish, and vegetarian option available.

Question

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Answer

Novella's and the hotel we are planning to work with are located within steps of one another . One of the main reasons we chose Novella's was because of how close it was to the hotel. It is less than a minute's walk to get from Novella's to the hotel. We want everyone to enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about a ride to the hotel.

Question

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

We are working with a nearby hotel to create a room block. Once the hotel block has been secured, you can find all the details under the "Travel" tab.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for the evening. We ask that you please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off as we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please don't RSVP late!
