Please RSVP no later than May 10 in order to give us time to submit final guest counts to our wedding venue. We hope to have your understanding that any guests who have not RSVP'd by this date will be considered not attending.
Invitations will be addressed to all those we’ve invited to the wedding and will note if you are invited to bring a guest with you. Due to venue capacity, we ask that you only bring those listed on your invitation.
We will make adjustments to the guest list to accommodate children for special circumstances if possible. Please only bring children if you have submitted an RSVP for them and have contacted us if your children need added online. Please only request to bring your kids if you truly cannot attend the wedding without bringing your children along. This is only because we do not have the venue capacity to hold all guests and all their children so we want to hold the space for those who do not have other childcare options. Again, we hope you understand and will enjoy a night off from parenting! For guests willing to travel, thank you for caring about our wedding enough to come in from all across the country!
Yes! Please see the travel page for links to hotels we've reserved room blocks with and to get discounted rates we negotiated for our guests. These hotels are within walking distance or less than 5 minutes by car from our wedding venue.
Our venue is completely handicap accessible and there is an elevator for any guests to use instead of the stairs. We do ask that you notify us, either when you RSVP or by contacting Pam (# at top of page) if you have any mobility concerns or need adapted seating so that we can adjust our seating chart and alert venue staff accordingly.
Please note this when submitting your RSVP. There is a space allotted for you to list the details of your allergy/dietary requirement so that we may pass the information along to our caterer. You may also note whether you would prefer an alternative meal or if you would like the buffet meal, provided that the meal is safe/compliant with your dietary needs.
No worries! The website will "unlock" you in about 20 minutes and you'll be able to submit your RSVP at that time. Zola has an annoying, but necessary security feature that is designed to lock out individuals who might be guessing names to find one that works.
Anytime after 5:00 pm and preferably before 5:20 pm to make sure you have time to be seated prior to the ceremony start at 5:30 pm
The Grand Ballroom is located at 6 E 5th Street in Covington, Kentucky in the Historic Odd Fellows Building. The entrance is located just next to the corner of Madison Avenue & E 5th Street and has a black awning that says “The Grand and the Pinnacle” on it. (It might be hard to spot at first). The Midtown Parking Garage (where we suggest guests park) is less than 1 block away from our venue when walking away from Madison Ave. down E 5th St. and is on the opposite side of the road from The Grand Ballroom. Bring your ticket in for free parking validation! Added details on Travel Page of this website. Please note that Covington has several one-way streets. We recommend using your GPS to give you the best directions to the venue.
Elizabeth plans to take Patrick's last name after the wedding, and the couple will be Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Elizabeth Pavloff. However, it does take some time to legally change Elizabeth's last name so we ask that all gifts, checks, etc. be written for or shipped to only Patrick Pavloff. This will avoid any confusion while the name change process is finalized.
